This Van Winkle Family Reserve rye, released in 2013, is labeled as 13 years old but is actually 19 years old. It is presumed to have been distilled at Medley in Owensboro and blended with 1980s-distilled “Cream of Kentucky” rye from George T. Stagg before being tanked at Buffalo Trace in 2004. The remaining reserves ran out in 2016, with a new batch distilled at Buffalo Trace first bottled in 2018.
