Springbank distillery is nestled in the heart of Campbeltown, once the whisky capital of the world, and home to over 30 distilleries. Many of these distilleries fell victim to the 1980s whisky loch. Today, there are only three active distilleries left in Campbeltown: Glengyle, Glen Scotia, and Springbank. This fantastic 15 year old was bottled in the 1980s and is very scarce at auction and retail.
Springbank prides itself on its traditional distilling methods, with everything from malting the barley to bottling the whisky still done on-site. It is also one of the only remaining family-owned distilleries in Scotland.
