Scarabus Aged 10 Years Islay Malt Scotch Whisky- Hunter Laing (700ml)
Volume: 700ml ABV: 46 % Age: Aged 10 Years Country: Scotland
An aged 10 years version of the core Scarabus Islay whisky.
The smoke and Islay characteristics of the Scarabus is there of course, with added influence of oak after being matured for a decade in a combo of refill ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks.
Coming from a mysterious ‘un-named’ distillery on Islay, Scarbus was launched for Fèis Ile 2019 by Hunter Laing.
Meaning ‘Rocky Place’ in Old Norse, Scarabus is named after a mysterious part of Islay, and this mystery is reflected in the bottle.
