Elegante Extra Anejo is aged for 36 to 40 months in carefully selected one-pass Jack Daniels American Oak barrels. After 24 months, a small portion is transferred from 200 Liter barrels to 100 liter barrels. This transfer adds a touch of intensity to both the color and the flavor, and after aging is blended back together to create Elegante. Great clarity with deep amber hues. Notes of dark chocolate and dried fruit with a hint of vanilla. Opens up richly in the glass. Harmonious and complex with an elegant and smooth finish.. The earthy agave core of this tequila is flanked by aromas of smoked pear and dry tobacco leaf.
