Macallan 18 Year Sherry Oak 1967 750ml
When Macallan took over their bottling in 1980, they toyed for a few releases with more advanced age-statements of 17 and 18 years old. The 18 was deemed the optimum maturation, and the official 18 year old was launched in 1984. It is now an absolute classic of the whisky world. Bottled in 1985. this 1967 vintage is the second official 18 year old age-stated reelase of the series.

Light mahogany. Dried fruits and ginger with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Soft and rich, with hints of spice, clove, orange and toasted mature oak. Lingering with dried fruits, ginger and orange zest.
