Glen Scotia 17 Year Old Old Label 43%
Glen Scotia (sometimes referred to as “The Scotia” or “Old Scotia”) is a Scottish Single Malt whisky distillery based in Campbeltown on the southern Kintyre Peninsula on the west coast of Scotland.
The distillery, initially named Scotia, was established in 1832 by two local figures, Dean of Guild (a local magistrate) James Stewart and Provost John Galbraith, and production was considerable at the Campbeltown site throughout the 19th Century.
