Known for its straw hats, woolen blankets, and fertile land, the Arandas municipality in Jalisco, Mexico, is home to Baluarte Spirits, boasting three notable Tequilas—Añejo, Blanco, and Reposado. All these Mexican knights are joined by their incredible agave, grown at the right altitude, with the perfect acidity and pleasant agave climate of warm days and cold nights. The Baluarte Tequila uses a brick oven method for cooking agave, giving its spirit a distinctive flavor with magnificent herbal notes and the sweetness of cooked agave. Baluarte Añejo Tequila is made exclusively from 100% Blue Weber agave. This spirit is meticulously aged for 15 months in American oak barrels, contributing to its smooth and intricate aroma. Notes of oak and vanilla are detectable, as are hints of aromatic herbs such as rosemary.
